Let me start by just saying, WOW. If you are searching for your wedding/ special moments/ videographer STOP LOOKING NOW. There are a million great things I could say about John Rink (the creator of Happy Tears) but i’ll settle with telling you the reasons I chose Happy Tears, without hesitation. Happy Tears caught my eye on instagram one day and I now thank God that we found each other. They offer amazing discounts for police offers and military personnel which is originally what caught my eye. Being a military wife that was exactly what sold me. Fortunately the good vibes did not stop there. After a phone call with John I felt 100% confident in my decision. He has been in this business for around 30 years BY CHOICE. He’s an older gentleman and he reminded me of my dad… and who can you trust more than your dad?! No one! Five minutes into our initial phone call I felt we knew each other for years. I’m not sure what you look for when booking a wedding vendor, but I can tell you exactly what I was looking for. A friend, someone who was willing to listen to my concerns, to help walk me through this process, someone to capture my dreams so I can cherish them forever. We got along great which was exactly what I needed. Plus that incredible discount, I guarantee you won’t find that elsewhere. On top of that, he offered a payment plan that helped take more stress away. John has a team of very talented videographers and I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Belle. She was an angel, because at our initial meeting I was the devil (it was raining and I did not plan for rain at my beach ceremony, I texted out the wrong new address so I had to send another text to 185 people, I was nasty, stressed and panicked) She walked in with a gorgeous smile on her face, could see how upset I was and just kept smiling. I promise i’m not the devil I just needed some good vibes and she brought them! She was a gem to work with, and so so stealthy! I honestly didn’t see her after I met her but she I know she saw me. Her talent is extremely evident. Some of my favorite moments from our day I am able to rewatch and relive because she went above and beyond! And now i’d like to talk about why John calls it Happy Tears. Just shy of 3 weeks after my wedding ( which is INSANELY FAST) I received my documentary style video. It is 38 minutes long and an absolute dream come true! In all honesty i’ve watched it at least 25 times. My documentary has it all, from first looks, laughs, tears, hugs, speeches, dancing and our bubbly exit. The amount of actual happy tears that roll down my face when I watch it is a number I lost count of! I can’t even express how grateful I am to John and his team for going above and beyond to capture my perfect day, perfectly. On top of that I’d like to reiterate that John is not only very timely, but will accommodate all your concerns, he is outstanding with communication. Please from one bride to another this is the vendor you NEED to book!
