A well presented and equipped apartment in the heart of Padstow. However, an open circular staircase (not allowed to climb) at one end of the room opens up to a boarded loft space that blows a gale down it on windy days and nights. Blamed on Storm Amy by the HH GM and when it passed the problem disappears as well says the HH GM. Fireplace chimney breast isn't sealed properly and therefore blows a draft down it. Strand Street is very tight for unloading/loading and presents problems for people trying to walk past. You will be woken by noisy revellers from The Harbour Inn and The Old Customs House passing through Strand St on their way home. Too many "Do not.........." signs. Do not use the Washing M/c and DW after 10pm; Do not touch the heating controls (HH GM says they were set by the previous owner!). Do not open the right hand window except in the case of an emergency. We wont be staying there again and wont be recommending it. I doubt if we will use HH again.
