After enduring TMJ issues for over six years, I am now free of pain! Within a week of using my splint, I no longer needed pain medication. I had tried various treatments without success, but the staff were wonderful, and the doctor provided exceptional care.
Having been a patient for several years, I continue to return for check-ups despite moving to Europe. The service is outstanding, with professional and friendly staff. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and they even assist with shipping aligners internationally. I appreciate all the support and look forward to my next visit.
I am really shocked by the below reviews as I have only experienced fantastic, professional and caring service from these guys and my family and I have been patients of the practice for years, literally nearly 15 years! In my view, they are by far the best dental practice in London. I trust them with my dental health as well as my children's! On top, they are the only place in London that will never refuse to see you even when it is at a very short notice.
My 12-year old daughter is under the wonderful care of Dr Adam Thorne and is presently having Invisalign treatment with him. Dr Thorne immediately put her at ease with his gentle bedside manner and has made the entire process straightforward and stress free. We never imagined it would be so easy to achieve the perfect smile. We are now 20 weeks in and we can see her smile transforming and can't wait for the final result! We would highly recommend the Harley Street Dental Studio based on our experience.
Have just made a complaint to General Dental Council. I paid for a retainer a week before the first lockdown. The retainer was fitted in 2022. They've suddenly lost my payment from 2020. Initially they lied and said I received 2 retainers but since there's no proof of that, they've now said I never made a payment even though it's right on the receipt. Beware of fraud!
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A SCAM SERVICE AND PRICES ARE THROUGH THE ROOF! YOU CAN LITERALLY GET THE SAME TREATMENT DONE ELSEWHERE AND BETTER FOR HALF THE PRICE. WORST DECISION I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE AND A REGRET FOR SURE.I was given a TMJ splint for £7500 which provided me with no relief. This was the first phase of my so called treatment. After that, i was advised a phase 2 of the treatment is required which will cost £18000. Its a joke. I am sure they knew from the off set that I will require a phase 2 but they didn't tell me from the start. Instead, i wasted £7500 of my hard earned money for a peice of plastic which was the first phase. I was literally living off liquids during this first phase. Unbelievable. We learn life seasons and i guess this was one of them.A bitter pill to swallow but it is what it is.
Absolute Crooks! This dental practice has caused me so much trauma and pain, all because they decided they wanted to take my money. I have bad TMD/TMJ and was looking for pain relief, so booked an advert for David Frey, 'neuromuscular dentist'. Someone from reception wrote back and said he wasn't available but that I could see another dentist who works closely with him to do the scans etc and that these would be sent to him. As it turns out, this never happened. The other dentist suggested my wisdom teeth were the problem and removed all 4. Of course, after thousands of pounds, and pain, I was then contacted by David Frey, who said that he'd never receieved the scans, was never party to any information about wisdom teeth removal, and even said that this procedure would make my TMD worse, as i'd already had my bicuspids removed, and suggsted a completely different treatment plan. He was confused himself and said that this shouldn't have happened. Fast forward months of agony, emails and trying to claim compensation for the damage done, despite the clinic receptionist outrightly admitting this had been a complete mistake, i was denied any compesnation, or even an apology from the dentist himself!! Utterly discusting. Just to fill their pockets, I had 4 healthy wisdom teeth removed by dentist Paul Wilson (they were not impacted or bad). Now, my TMD is actively worse! and I have trouble chewing, as I have far less teeth. So upsetting and I really hope this clinic shuts down. It's taken me so long to write this review, as the whole experience has been so upsetting and left my unable to trust medical professionals and densits. I've seen many dentists since that have seen the scans and all been shocked that these 4 teeth were removed.
Don’t be fooled..Prices on their site do not include “compulsory” extras such as £600 retainers! But of course they do not tell you this until after you have paid £200 consultation and £500 deposit, also do not be fooled by payment plans, was lured in with them but in reality they wanted it all in 3 weeks or to get full on finance. Prices for Invisalign do not start from £3800, they start from £4400, felt like it was more for money than any care for me at all. When I said this she then said she didn’t want to carry out the treatment then as it wouldn’t be right for me! Just because I questioned all the extras!
