I recently informed Hastings of a collision where I rolled back into a motorcycle that was parked and unattended.

I have just received my renewal through and it had gone from £282.00 to £618.00 because I made Hastings aware of the incident.
I talked to both the Renewal Department and Claims department and neither could answer my questions.
The claims department said because no one has come forward and claimed against me yet they have estimated the damage to be £3750, the motorcycle was only worth between £800-£1000 so how they can estimate that amount is beyond belief.

No one has claimed against me and no one from Hastings could answer my questions, I expected my insurance to go up but to go up by the amount quoted is very unreasonable.
I would not recommend Hastings to anyone from how I have been dealt with and I feel that they just want to get as much money out of me as possible.
