I have just renewed my policy for another year through the app after getting the notification by email. Over about 20 years of driving this used to be the most stressful time of the year, having to go get quotes and haggle on price. This is the third time I’ve been shocked to open the Hastings app and find my price going down instead of up, with the renewal taking less than 2 minutes as it has been made so easy.
I changed my car a month ago and had to contact customer service. I expected the price to go up then too, but it went down, and I even got a partial rebate. The customer service staff are some of the friendliest in the financial services industry. I honestly think other places could learn from them. It’s the perfect combination of tech that works, excellent people, and pricing that favours the customer and their budget.
A very happy customer and expect I will continue to be for a long time at this rate!
