PLEASE be aware of Headway's potentially illegal practices. I almost signed up with them in 2023, but did not. It is now 2026 and I recieved a email letting me know I had a client through them. I attempted to contact Headway - there is no number anywhere. However, I know they have phones because I talked with them in person in 2023. I went to their site as a patient and found my entire PsychologyToday page being utilized by their company. The information for me was directed to their company. I was then able to sign in under an account that I didn't even know I had. I then went further and saw they have been in my CAQH account for the past two years. This means that they have been fraudulent in advertising me as one of their providers. It means that any patient who found me through them was redirected to another one of their providers. This means I have paid for Psychology Today for years, and they have benefited from it. This means I have lost patients by them soliciting them illegally. I have only been able to use their chat box and send a "ticket" to them because "they have no contact number." How does a "reputable" large company NOT have a contact number? I have zero clue how to rectify this, but if you have signed up with them, I can tell you 100% they are NOT being honest. They are NOT here to "help" you in any way. They are unethical and have created a "locked down" system that allows them to continue being unethical. Luckily, my practice has grown to overflowing on my own over the years - certainly NOT because of PsychologyToday or any help from Headway. DO NOT FALL FOR WHATEVER IT IS THEY ARE TELLING YOU! If you do, or if you have, make sure you have an actual contact name and number, and make sure you document every interaction you have with them. You will need it.
