The Healing Project has given our 10 year old pitty another chance at life. After 3 years of being on a consistent dose of Apoquel, our girl began developing tumors. She was diagnosed with mast cell cancer and luckily was able to have 1 tumor removed and we stopped the Apoquel because her allergies had subsided since moving her back to CA from KY. Unfortunately we started noticing a new problem, she began growing a new tumor in her mouth. It was growing so rapidly we were for certain this would be the end for her. It hindered her ability to eat and she was rapidly losing weight. Our vet was very supportive in giving her comfort medications but they only sedated her into a constant state of sleepiness. She progressively got worse until we came into contact with Jesse, The Healing Project. Thankfully recommended by a close relative we got into quick contact and wanted to offer our dog a form of pain management. For 7 months now, Leyah has been THRIVING!! We changed her diet, have a regular schedule with her medication from the Healing Project and yes the tumor is still there but the growth rate has decreased immensely. She shows her full personality again and we hope to continue this program until she shows us she can’t go on anymore. Jesse and Isabella has always been supportive and easy to contact!
