Kingsbridge Hospitals Belfast and Derry are now available from cross border treatment. They have advertised this. I had surgery at HCB hospital Dénia in April 2023. For inguinal hernia on my left side I had a dreadful experience in that hospital and I still suffer from pain which the HSE are now taking care of. Healthcare Abroad nor HCB hospital wanted to know me or anything about the ongoing problems I had. They treated me like dirt on the soles of their shoes. Anyway Spain is too far to be returning to when a problem does occur, I should have waited to have my surgery done here. What a foolish mistake I made. I had surgery done at Kingsbridge in Belfast and there was no comparison. Healthcare Abroad have accused me of making false accusations. The HSE can prove that very wrong. I know 2 others who were patients at this hospital who also had a bad experience I won’t comment more on them. I had the same surgery in UCHG a few months later and I did not suffer for 5 munures. So Healthcare Abroad can you explain this? No you can’t, all they do is defend themselves in comments below each bad review. I will share my story with anyone. Look after your health folks and have surgery where there is some form of comeback because HCB hospital will deny and become defensive if you complain. Shocking and disgusting.
