I was apprehensive about spending so much money on a test. I'd been thinking about doing a comprehensive test for a couple of years to help me deal with my stomach issues. The NHS,as amazing as it can be, is obviously going through a hard time at the moment. I've spent so many days seeing GPs over the last few years, and taken time off work for appointments that lead nowhere, it honestly felt like the GPs all thought I was a hypercindriac as wouldn't ever refer me to a specialist. I'm a climber and a runner based in the mountains of England. My life had been spent refining my body for these spots and I preformed in the top 10% of these sports. Just to give a rough indication of fitness. When my stomach issues started , I couldn't perform anymore, I had to stop doing the things I loved. It impacted every part of my life. I wish I'd done a healthpath test years ago and just spent the money. For me, they seem to have found the issue and offered a solution. I'm losing weight again and have more energy, I've been able to start training again. My experience has been great, far better than the public health service. It's worth giving this option consideration at the very least.
