My doctor sent them a four month prescription, but they refused to fill it for the 4th month, citing their policy of a 3 month limit for a controlled substance. The company subsequently clarified that the 3 month limitation is imposed by the state of Kentucky. If that is the case they would do well to state that on their website to alert any customer when placing an order. Also, in their corresponse declining to fill the 4 month supply, the letter cited company policy and not state law. That should be changed to identify the correct authority responsible for that arbitrary policy. They also increased the per/pill price when filling the 3 month prescription. After I called to complain, a supervisor authorized a refund for the upcharge, but said future orders would be at the higher rate. If customers are prevented from buying the higher quantity due to state law, they should be given the benefit of the lower 4-month quantity price, as they should not be burdened with a higher price for a state- limited quantity beyond the customer's control. On the positive side, their prices were very good and their delivery service was fast.I revised my rating upward from 3 stars to 4 stars based on their clarification that they were simply complying with Kentucky state law in limiting the prescription quantity. They could have made my purchase experience far less frustrating by clearly showing that limitation on their web site and not changing the per-pill price without first alerting the customer to that change.
