I was enrolled on a visual line of sight course with Heliguy, week beginning 14th October 2024 (work related) and was immediately impressed with how developed the company was. I have little to no experience with drones and what organisations are out there teaching piloting therefore was impressed to see Heliguy so well equipped and how professional they came across. The course itself was interesting and I learned a lot, I would like to note that the power point content was a struggle to get through and feel future courses would benefit more with practical sessions between presentations e.g. setting up and dismantling the drone, going through its features or even generating a notam or going through a flying session and what is required. The trainers were excellent and very approachable. I spent the majority of my week with Lois who was a fantastic teacher with an excellent teaching style and was very positive towards everyone and their abilities. This I found was particularly good as anyone who is completely new to the drone world would feel right at ease with Lois who encouraged everyone and made the week fun. Overall 4 stars to Heliguy the only criticism being the amount of powerpoint input (although understandable).
