New customer. I wanted to like Hello Fresh, but cancelled the subscription after the first box. The website is difficult to navigate. They upsell you on eeeeevery click. Most of the recipies are actually “premium recipies” which means to you will pay extra on top of the “basic box.” Basic box covers very little. I wanted three meals for three people. Without realising I ordered two premium recipies, which are charged an extra €10 per meal. I only learned about the extra charge when my card was charged. Basic box was €50 even though it contained only one meal. I had to go through three rounds of chats of customer service to sort out everything. I was told that as a new member I would not be charged for the basic box, but I was.Update: The salmon and fish portions are child sized. Meals are bulked up with cheapest ingredients. The best part - one of the two “premium” meals is not complete. Meat is missing. I am exhausted by this.
