I had a disappointing experience with Her Last Call Academy and feel compelled to share in case it helps others make an informed decision.I enrolled on March 10, 2024, after seeing an Instagram ad from Alexis Mai that clearly offered a 30-day money-back guarantee. That promise gave me the confidence to invest in the program.Unfortunately, the content and coaching style didn’t suit my learning preferences. While Alexis is clearly knowledgeable, I found the delivery more discouraging than empowering. After participating for nearly a month, I requested a refund on April 9—well within the 30-day window.I only received one vague response saying they’d “look into it.” No follow-up came, despite repeated outreach. Both Afterpay and Whop, the payment processors, denied my request, claiming the guarantee didn’t exist—something I know to be untrue. I personally know three people who received refunds for the same reason.I shared my situation in the company’s Facebook group and was contacted by six others who had similar experiences. Only after I publicly stated that I’d report the company to the BBB and other review platforms did they finally issue a refund—within an hour.This selective enforcement of their refund policy and the lack of communication until publicly called out feels extremely unprofessional. Be cautious if you're considering this program.
