I would have left more stars but here is the problem: I have purchased from this brand before and initially saw some improvement with brows but not impressed with the lash serum, but after 4 months - yes I can see slightly longer lashes so am happy from that point. HOWEVER after placing another order for products, and experiencing some delay, I eventually received a letter from Royal Mail informing me I was being charged Import duties of £80!!! I knew it was wrong and it should have been less than half that, but it is because THE COMPANY PUTS DOWN THE FULL RRP OF GOODS SOLD, NOT THE ACTUAL PRICE THE CUSTOMER PAYS, so the fees charged were excessive. Therefore I refused to pay and it is being returned to sender. Oddly I did not get charged with 2 prev orders for various Liaison products. I did contact Liaison, who did refund me on proof of refusal to accept the order. I am sure it is against regulations to put such a high value on the customs declarations which I can imagine only serves to benefit the company; because in case of loss I guess they claim back the stated value instead of the actual discounted purchase price - it is not fair to customers affected. This is really bad and as such I likely won't buy from them again because it substantially increases costs. They said they were unable to change their system and put the ACTUAL purchase price for the products on the paperwork... never had this problem before and I buy a lot from overseas. I always try to keep the price below the import tax threshold, but in any event, Liaison putting a value of well over £300 on the package for an order I paid much less than half that figure (and this included taxes and shipping), was absolutely wrong in every sense of the word. It is enough for UK buyers to be put off purchasing larger orders from them.
