Was so looking forward to trying this food experience at Hickorys we booked a table online for 2 got to the restaurant great set up seating ambience etc menu looked and sounded great went straight for a main meal each and a couple of drinks.The drinks had way to much ice so the little amount of mixer that was in there became very diluted and tasted like sweet water as the ice melted.We sat for nearly 20 mins when all I can assume was the manager came to our table and apologised for our wait stating they were really busy and it could be another 45 mins to recieve the food it didn't seem that busy but as I was so hungry and had great expectations for what I had ordered the carnivor plater I was so happy to see the waiter arrive 25 minutes later with the greatly anticipated food only to be disappointed so few fries a tough piece of pork the chicken had more bone than meat the 2 slithers of brisket was very tasty but all items were as warm as the coleslaw.We didn't want to wait for desert so asked for the bill which had a service charge added and no option waive I have no issue paying a service charge when I receive service.Upon exiting the restaurant we walked past the same manager who apologised earlier along with 3 other staff and not so much as a thank you or good night.So sorry but it's a no from me for a return visit Poor customer service and pricey food no thank you!!
