I am outraged by the incompetence and brazen lies from the BA Highlife shop. In response to an email add for Black Friday I placed an order many weeks ago and received a phone call 3 weeks ago that one of the items on my purchase list was not available and I agreed with “Lorraine” to swap this item for an alternative Molton Brown product. I was promised that the amended order would be shipped and received within 5 working days.That time lapsed some weeks ago and a further call to Lorraine who apologised for the delay stated that the promotion had been enormous and that they were overwhelmed with orders but were now catching up and I would receive the delivery within 5 days.That period ended last week and I called again and emailed asking about the whereabouts of my order?Lorraine for the 3rd time apologised and confirmed once again that the goods had now been dispatched and would be arriving shortly and that she would call me on Monday 20th December to confirm safe receipt.Today, 16th December I received a call saying that all of the items except 1 was out of stock!?You really cannot make this stuff up. To her relief I demanded a full refund for this order as I firmly believe that I’m not the only one who has been over promised as it appears they never had this stock? BA highlife should be ashamed of the lies and the misleading updates provided by the same customer services person “Lorraine”. It is outrageous that on 3 occasions she confirmed that the goods had been shipped. I advised her that I would be posting a review on trust pilot for anybody contemplating using this very broken service. The prices were too good to be true - £16 for 2 bottles of Molton Brown that would normally cost £20 each!!! I feel like I have been scammed, I await the refund back onto my credit card.6th Jan update, since posting my review in December BA Highlife have failed to refund this Black Friday purchase. Moreover I’ve received 3 separate voice mails from “Lorraine” in their customer service team confirming that my order has been shipped. This person doesn’t know what day of the week it is - I notified them today that I am pursuing a full refund via my credit card company as a disputed transaction. I’ve received a response apologising that the goods are out of stock delisted and a refund would be made. I await a refund for a purchase made in November - this company and Lorraine in particular is dishonest and you should avoid ordering goods from them. Worst ever online purchase that I’ve made.
