I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek arriving on the 1st of May and flying off on the 14th. The first two days we went by car and hero and started trekking on the third day. The scenery and the experience as a whole was on of the best things I’ve ever seen and done. My guide Santa was a nice guy and we had some fun along the trek. I booked the trek to complete it on my own without any friends, however I let another German guys and to English on day 3 after finishing this stage and we found ourselves to play games after each day and talking a little which was very relaxing and nice. Booking just for me made everything very easygoing because ingot to meet new people who all were on the same page and if I didn’t like them or if they had gone in a different pace I could have told my guide and I would have done my own thing. Booking alone frees you from any restraints concerning your group.Santa always took care of the accommodation and recommended me what to do and not to do, especially concerning altitude sickness and food. Whenever possible I got a room with my own western bathroom and shower. The food was good and gave me sufficient strength.The manager of the agency Bikesh both picked me up and dropped me at the airport. I was always very friendly and I felt like he took good care of organising transportation and flights within Nepal. When on the first day the road was blocked he managed to change the transport to give one example. The money I paid in the beginning included everything (also changes in itinerary) from food to accommodation. It did not include bottled water that I ordered in the hostels.All in all it was a very enjoyable experience for me and I would recommend everyone to do Annapurna circuit. I paid more for the trek than people I met on the trek, however I noticed that perhaps this enabled the agency and Santa to give me a more relaxing experience (I didn’t have to mind prices when ordering in the hostels etc.)I think this was one of the best vacations I ever did.
