Our tour began 7:30 am Kiut, our driver, picked us up on time and we started a great day visiting many of the wonders of Ubud. We began in the waterfall, although there are many steps, the walk is worth it! Kiut was very attentive always helping us taking pictures and giving us information about each place we visited. Then we went to the Monkey Forest, Kiut guided us through, the macaques are really fun to watch and the forest is beautiful. Then we drove to the market, where with a bit of haggle managed to buy a few souvenirs to bring back home. The coffee plantation was next, the visit is short but the welcome drinks, a selection of 14 coffees and teas is excellent. The Ubud temple was our next stop, where Kiut gave us a great explanation of the rituals, and intricacies of his religion, he is very knowledgeable and definitely made the experience much more interesting, to understand how and why things are done gave us great appreciation for the places we visited. After that, we went to have lunch, delicious, generous portions and a great view. The last stop was the rice plantation, beautiful views! And once again Kiut, with endless patience took our pictures and explained how everything works, and the importance of rice in the life in Bali. It is definitely a tour worth doing and if you are lucky to have Kiut as your guide, well … you already won!
