My first ever 1-star review after loving my e-bike for a few months.
I purchased my bicycle from Hitway last December, and unfortunately, last weekend, on my way back from a ride, it developed a serious issue with the pedal assist system.
It happened exactly as a previous customer complained about here. The malfunction started gradually, and after one or two kilometres, the pedal assist stopped completely. This made the bicycle difficult to use, due to its weight. It does not help that the bike repair stores around me do not work on a bike like this.
When I arrived home, I checked the bicycle and did not find any visible issues: the tyres are properly inflated, the frame is aligned, and the battery is fully charged. The diagnostics from the app say "hall fault".
I require technical assistance, as after only four months of use, it is concerning that the product is experiencing failures that prevent proper use and affect me significantly.
Email response time is unbearable, and I have never seen anyone available to respond on the website.
I am willing to delete this review if this is resolved swiftly.
