I fell v heavily,completely flat on my back onto the hard surface of my kitchen floor.This happened at the end of April and became stiff and painful.From 11/05/20 I had 11 session with a local physio,at a cost of over £400 .Disallusioned with the lack of progress that I was making I went to see Simon Hogan 05/08/20. After an hours consultation he advised me to arrange an X-ray via my GP.The X-ray confirmed Simons diagnosis of a compression fracture of a vertebra in my spine,as a result of my fall in April !It transpired that during the 11 sessions with the previous physio,who practices at Prestbury,not only had he not diagnosed the fracture,but had been incorrectly treating my back with manipulation and the use of a laser machine!!I have continued to see Simon. I thoroughly recommend him as a v knowledgeable, thorough,professional physiotherapist,who gives clear explanations and appropriate treatment
