What an amazing company. It is easier to share some of the post trip email I sent back to Emma, our Holiday Architect trip organiser...The trip was absolutely fantastic. Thank you for putting together such a great itinerary we really felt like we packed it in, but at the same time all the worry about moving multiple times was taken away due to the handy airport transfers at both ends and also having all the tickets purchased in advance (great seats on all the trains!). A few highlights was the first tour guide, Yoshi, who really helped orientate us on the first day and even looked ahead at our itinerary and suggested a different walking route for when we went to Kiso Valley (and he helped us buy the train and bus tickets for it!) we also loved the cycling tour in Kyoto. To be honest, there are too many highlights to list as we felt you got the mix of culture, city and anime just right. We even had a 5.0 earth quake whilst in Matsumoto so that was a first! The hotels were all fantastic, and you really got our desire for a mix of modern and then more 'traditional' Japan. The best (for me) was the hotel in the Kiso Valley and for Dan was Hotel Groove in Tokyo, which was fantastic but as I’m petrified of heights the floor to ceiling windows on 37th floor played with my vertigo!) I’ve already looked at other places you operate in, and plan to get back in touch for another big trip maybe in a few years time (we need to build the savings back up!). I will certainly recommend you to anyone I know considering a Japan trip (which is quite a few people having been inundated with our pics).
