This was our first trip to Japan, but my third trip organised by Holiday Architects. Fenton, the Japan specialist, was such a help right from the first time we spoke to him, listening to the sort of things we are interested in and enjoy doing, plus giving honest advice if he didn't think something was worth including in our trip. He also suggested wonderful places and activities that we would never have thought of including, such as guided cycling and hiking trips and a couple of days in Kurashiki, which was a beautiful small canal-side town. His advice on the best time to travel for the autumn colours was also spot on. Holiday Architects will adjust the itinerary until you are happy with it, and the transfers, guides and hotels were all extremely good and totally reliable. Fenton was also excellent at responding to any queries or questions we had, both before and during our trip. The self guide app and pocket Wi-Fi device supplied by Holiday Architects is also fantastic, and made finding our way around Japan so much easier than we had expected. A big thank you to Fenton and Holiday Architects for planning a trip that definitely exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to planning our next holiday with this wonderful company.
