Finally bit the bullet and got some Holy Grail Nail gel wraps. Pros:* The kit is small and simple * It is fairly easy to use * They look good, provided you get them 100% in the correct place, which is fiddly. Cons:* The first nail popped off in three days. The second in five. The rest are lifting a bit but as long as I am VERY careful, it’s okay. I’ve had to replace three wraps in the time I’ve worn them about a week and a half (yes I prepped carefully and thoroughly each time). * if you intend to do anything with your hair, even wipe it out if your face or behind your ears: you will rip out strands of your hair. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I can’t overstate how much the hair gets snagged on the lifted edges of the nails (even on the first day when I had no lift, the hair was catching on the nail wrap edges). * They go slightly hard, but not much at all. My nails, with the wraps on, can bend. For the price, I am disappointed.
