It is a scam from a to z. They created fake webpages and yelp listings. They’ve hired whole call centre on Philippines to answer incoming calls in multiple locations. Their phone representatives lie to customers about their location and license. Yes, ask to come to a store and they will refuse. Ask to provide a license and they will be avoiding it. Their license may be real but it’s still a shady scheme. They operate under different names but their invoices always go to home alliance. While particular workers may offer good repair and maintenance service, in general their business scheme is illegal in the US. They inflate prices for services and parts, especially if they see a wealthy customer. They avoid showing up for maintenance and doing free diagnostic (that are parts of agreement you sign with them) if they don’t see benefit in it. It’s just a marketing trick for them. More over they sell your customer data including name, address, contact details and issue to third parties or contractors not affiliated to them, and then these contractors come to your house you realise it’s not the person who supposed to come initially, it’s just a random guy who paid $200 for a lead with intention to get $2000 for $500 job. It’s not just my case, I’m not just a 1 from 100 customer with bad experience. I know there are a lot of people who’d had problems with them and even started lawsuits. I hope they could get this scam closed for ever. Don’t make my mistake and choose someone else. They are not reliable at all. Use them only if you want pain in the *ss. Doesn’t deserve even one star
