Our broker tried to get us a HELOC with their NFTY affiliate. This was a horrible mistake. From the beginning, there were issues with how they computed our income, and our DTI ratio (certainly not 77.9%!), and how they treated us as prospective customers.This company is very AI-driven, had no customer support, and is slow to respond to anything, Simply stated, they are a nightmare. I wish my broker had known this before we wasted all of our time with them. Now, I have to start from the beginning. People give Rocket Mortgage crap, but at least they were upfront with us about the work we had to do to get our loan. These people were not.
