After suffering multiple outages due to blown fuse wires that was swiftly resolved by Hornsby Electric, I decided to completely overhaul the electricity supply setup and upgrade the switchboard. Jacob explained in detail the pros and cons of different options, and I selected to replace the 600 x 600 meter box with a 900 x 600 one to cater for future growth.On the day of the upgrade, two Level 2 electricians performed the upgrade starting at 7am and completed by around 3pm. All tasks were carried out as described in the quotation, and now I have an up-to-date standard switchboard with a smart meter and circuit-breakers covering all 3 phases.A week after the upgrade half the sockets in the kitchen were out. Jacob guided me over the phone to troubleshoot the issue, and identified that a circuit-breaker was faulty.
