Beware of this company. In Hotels are called Clinic Assist (Hospiten Group). No matter if you have a serious condition or a paper cut in your finger, they WILL refer you to their private hospitals, where you not only will have unnecessary medical procedures (to squeeze your insurance company out of as much money as possible), but they will keep you there for as long as possible. In Mexico we were "referred" to their hospital due to my young grandchild having a runny stomach (nothing major), he was kept for 5 days, with drips, blood tests and whatever else they could try. They wouldnt let us leave, (even the child was clearly fine from day 1). They had security guards outside the door, so you wouldnt leave unless you were discharged. If you discharged yourself, your insurance wont cover further treatments or anything else that could arise. In the end, they let us out because we were due to fly back to the UK, literally 2 hours before our flight!. We had to divert our airport transfer to the Clinic and other members of our families in the hotel had to pack our bags for us and we couldnt say goodbye!....they basically ruined our holidays. DO NOT GO to their hospitals.
