It seems Hostek got acquired by Miss Group in 2019, and sadly everything has been a complete sh1tshow since then and has gradually gotten worse and worse.The support from Hostek is the worst I have ever experienced from any hosting provider in 25 years, even worse than GoDaddy.If your site or server or email goes down, you are screwed, as they simply do not care and will ignore you, leaving your services down for days, weeks and even months.There is not a single person in the whole company that cares about the customers, all of them will just ignore you if you have any issue or complaint, even the owners.The account managers will contact you, pretending they care and asking you if you need anything, but as soon as you tell them you have issues or complaints, they will ghost you and refuse to respond. They exist only to bullsh1t you and get sales.such as:-Lennon Wargenborg, Head of EnterpriseRushni Khan, Key Account ManagerThey are very unprofessional, unethical andDo not trust your business to this company, go elsewhere.They rarely ever answer the phone, if you leave a voicemail, they will never ever return your call.The live chat is not live at all.Their minimum response time to emails or chats is days at best, most of time you have to chase them for weeks to get a response, sometimes even months.There is no ticket system that you can login to, you have to keep a copy of every single email for reference.Trying to use their chat system to manage and refer to previous chats is horrific. Half the time the chats won't even be there, and finding the one you need is an exercise in frustration and hair pulling.Support regularly cannot find their own conversations and they get lost, and have no idea what you are talking about, and often chats will get mixed up, which causes more confusion.We have moved most of our clients elsewhere where possible, but sadly are stuck with them for our legacy Lucee and CF sites.Just goto webhostingtalk.com and search for posts about hostek to see what others are saying about them.
