I had a disappointing experience with Hot Miami Styles due to unclear and inconsistent communication regarding their return policy.I returned an item that was completely unworn, with original tags attached, in the same packaging it was shipped in, and well within their stated 14-day return window. Based on the condition of the item and compliance with their policy, I expected clear communication regarding my refund options.Initially, I was told that “the majority of returns are refunded via store credit,” which implied there were situations where a refund to the original form of payment might be possible. I specifically asked what qualifies for a full refund, but my question was never addressed. Instead, I later received a response stating that only store credit is provided, with no explanation for the earlier wording or clarification.This inconsistency was frustrating and felt misleading. Customers deserve transparent, accurate information so they can make informed purchasing decisions. If the policy is strictly store credit only, that should be clearly and consistently communicated upfront.While the return was processed, being limited to store credit despite fully complying with the return policy has significantly impacted my confidence in this company. I hope management reviews their communication practices and improves transparency so future customers are not misled. I would appreciate a direct response from management to clarify this policy and address these concerns.
