Before I booked and attended the how2become AIB training day I had reservations about the necessity of the course and the associated costs of travelling down to West Malling, Kent. I am pleased to say that when I attended the training day my reservations were quickly put to one side as I realized I had made a wise investment in my future career. The professionalism and expertise of the course leader was exceptional and the day was highly informative and enjoyable. The main benefit of the course was realizing my strengths and weaknesses and considering how this might affect my likelihood of success at AIB and more importantly as a Royal Navy Officer. The opportunity to meet other candidates was also an invaluable element of the day. In the scenario that I am not offered my primary career choice in the Royal Navy the materials and learning experiences from the training day will still be invaluable whilst applying for my secondary career choices.
