I have called HSE several times to report two separate breaches of safety in the workplace. The advice given was extremely limited and totally inappropriate in each case. It was not acceptable to call on behalf of another person and when the HSE was told that if the employee made a complaint or completed the paperwork their position could be seriously jeopardised. I am not at all impressed with the HSE's procedures.
