We had initially scheduled four vehicles for installation on Wednesday and one on Friday, starting at 8 AM. We were informed that each installation would take about 45 minutes, so I arranged for the vehicles to be available accordingly. No one mentioned that the 8 AM appointment could extend to 9 AM. The technician arrived at 9:20 AM. When I questioned the delay, he claimed he hadn’t been informed about the 8 AM start time. He began working on the first vehicle but after about 20 minutes, he came to apologize, stating he had broken the windscreen. I spoke with a representative who assured me it would be replaced the same day, forcing us to hire a vehicle from another source. The technician then continued, taking about 1.5 hours per installation. The delays caused us to scramble and reschedule appointments. One engineer, scheduled for 10:15 AM, couldn’t wait any longer, leading to further rearrangements. Later, I received a call saying the windscreen could be replaced on Saturday, which was unacceptable since the engineer had already hired a vehicle. I reiterated that we expected it fixed that afternoon, but I didn’t receive a follow-up. On Thursday, I confirmed that the second vehicle would be done on Friday. However, I was informed that an 8 AM appointment could mean anytime between 8 and 9 AM. The windscreen replacement was rescheduled for Monday, and I was told I would have to cover the cost of the extended hire. On Friday, the technician arrived at 9 AM. The second vehicle driver had to briefly step away but would return by 10:30 AM, as previously discussed. Around 9:30 AM, we were surprised to see the technician sitting in the vehicle eating toast, which felt unprofessional. At 10 AM, he came to our office asking for the second vehicle, despite the driver being on his way back. I tried to explain the situation and the chaos caused by previous delays, but he interrupted and chose to leave instead of waiting. We are now awaiting the last vehicle's return, hoping to resolve this frustrating experience.
