The auction houses that run on ibidder are shonky. They hide behind ibidders terms and conditions to treat the customers (YOU) poorly. Not a fan at all.Their terms and conditions say that they are an online auction bidding service and they are not a party to the contract of sale or purchase. Then a few paragraphs later it says under 'Our Agreement ' it constitutes as a legally binding contract between us and the auction houses and they retain an internal record of what we have agreed to.Supreme Auctions haven't even bothered to publish any Terms and Conditions on their website. They reference ibidders Terms of Use and yet ibidders terms and conditions says "we are not a party to the contract for sale and purchase entered into between you, the bidder, and the auctioneer and/or their principal".If you have time on your hands, people should complain to The Consumer Rights Act Citizens Advice.
