On January 2nd 2024- when I was nearing rock bottom- I was lucky enough to receive what I viewed then--and still do now-- as an angelic intervention. An ad on instagram appeared and it was a message of hope from company founder and CEO Mark Jennison. The initial message was simple: Alcohol is a thief. Not only was he accurate about what it had been doing to my life, but his message regarding "alcohol use not being a disease but a choice" was never so evident the moment I chose to step into the Comeback and out of the bottle. The group of men I have met in the journey have been an outstanding support system and I couldn't be happier with my "CHOICE" to join this system and make drinking a thing of the past. My wife and family feel the same. I actually met Mark locally for lunch and some coffee, he and his team are the real deal. This was not a program warranted meting. This was just a group of like-minded men inviting a brother to come out and have lunch. It was impressive to say the least. and I am eternally grateful for the changes this system has made in my life. Stacking the F's every day and choosing my dreams and mission over drinking has become my modus operandi. As I stated in my earlier passage- On January 2nd I was sent an angel. On January 3rd, I allowed that presence to take me to higher ground. That was my choice and maybe the best one I ever made.
