Program was concise and straight forward… I have a science background but am new to teaching. Doing this course gave me what I wanted… a good review of the material and a good handle on the challenge students face in mastering it as presented in this text

Although I initially doubted my abilities, the review quizzes for each week’s reading were thorough and easy to navigate. When the final exam came, I was a bit worried, but I managed to pass and earned my certificate. I decided to take a 6-week online certificate program for Genealogists. It was a great program. I appreciated being able to work at my own pace, since I also work. The program was very well-organized each week. I love that you can retake the quizzes until you feel confident in your knowledge.
In the IAP Etiquette Class, I learned the importance of presenting myself with confidence, respect, and professionalism in every setting. I gained a better understanding of proper manners, respectful communication, and how my behavior and choices affect how others perceive me.I learned how to greet others appropriately, practice good listening skills, and communicate clearly and politely. The class also taught me the value of personal appearance, posture, and body language, and how these elements contribute to a positive first impression.Additionally, I learned the importance of table manners, respect for shared spaces, and consideration for others in both social and professional environments. Most importantly, the class helped me understand that etiquette is not just a bunch of rules—it is about kindness, self-awareness, and treating others with dignity.
