What a humiliation, rude, and poor service, stressful and painful experience I've received from Iberojet on Punta Cana airport on 25th March.Namely, I had reservation/paid ticket for my flight from Punta Cana to Madrid (Barajas airport) and, as usual, came timely on Punta Cana airport to check in for my flight. Iberojet staff told me your reservation doesn't exist, you can't check in. I was shocked, showed them my reservation received from Iberojet, and showed them my credit card payment and confirmation, Iberojet didn't want to listen me. At one point, they start to talk with other customers, completely neglecting my presence there. In addition, the only staff person who knew the English language told me that I can't check in and board on flight and even started to help other customers to fill in Dominican Republic entry/exit application, neglecting my presence. When I insisted on checking with their reservation service, guy made some screenshot and, after ten minutes, said to me with the smile on his face "I've told you, you can't fly, I've just received confirmation from company". I was shocked, repeating that has to be some kind of mistake by Iberojet, but they didn't want to hear me anymore. After an additional 15 minutes of ignorance and rude reluctance to allow me to approach the counter, I again managed to approach the counter and literally begged them to check again. The reaction of the Iberojet male staff was unbelievably unprofessional and rude by saying "Look mister, if you want to fly on this plain, you'll need to purchase a new ticket which will cost you 1.160Eur, and you have only 3 minutes to do so".I could hardly speak after that statement, was in a deep shock, and my stress level was enormous.After 5 minutes, all 3 Iberojet staff members left the check-in area without a single word to me.Couldn't believe what happened to me, had to go back around 10.45pm from the airport. I had to book another flights for tomorrow, via other airlines and immediately sent my complaints via Iberojet website complaint form and received some silly mail replies that my reservation has been canceled by me, and I have received compensation funds for that reservation????I replied that there must be some mistake and that their reply is disturbing like their service on the Punta Cana airport.Then I've sent my complaint inquiry to the Iberojet reservation department and soon received mail where they were apologizing for the mistake, which has been caused by their reservation system mistake????Such a horrible, stressful, and painful experience caused by rude and unprofessional customer service from Iberojet, causing me to miss my business meeting back home.Everyone can make mistakes, but what differentiates good from bad customer service is the way your staff is handling that...this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life (I'm traveling for over 35years)!
