I requested a Subject Access Request from a company that misused my personal information. In response, they deleted the data and informed me via email, which I have documented. This is a violation of the data protection laws. The regulatory body took almost a year to 'investigate' and their response was a generic email stating no further action would be taken. They also failed to accurately address several details from my initial complaint. This organization is utterly ineffective, allowing companies to misuse personal data without consequences.
