I bought this direct from daffodil as all I needed was a basic TV freeview recorder.Unfortunately I could not get to my first programme to record on the epg because it only showed the current one. So I rang customer service who said it needs time to propagate ! They asked me if I had an up to date outside TV aerial and I confirmed that I did and it is new. My TV epg was picking up all the epg as usual. So after a while their epg 'breeded' and I found the programme to record by adding a red dot to it. Unfortunately when I came to play the recording it was of bbc1 not the chosen channel ! So I tried another time leaving the box on the channel I wanted to record, and it worked ! Hooray I thought.But this morning when I came to set a new recording the epg for bbc2 hd had not propagated far enough to it. Frustration. I left it on the epg for over an hour but still no joy. So I retuned all the channels, then my programme appeared ! What a clart.I don't know about recording 2 channels at the same time, even overlapping, but I doubt I'll ever need that.For the money it's not too bad as a very basic but glitchy TV recorder, but if you aren't willing to persevere with it don't buy.
