Problem with a CPU being DOA - honestly who ships an AMD CPU (or any cpu for that matter) in a brown paper bag inside a cardboard box? Went to my local Cex as luckily they were the only ones with a replacement in stock. Was expecting a big faff and them having to test the cpu... couldnt have been more pleasantly surprised. Immediate exchange, apologised Id gotten it that way and apologised for me having to do a replacemnet. Staff member couldnt have been nicer, a real credit to Cex. Replacement cpu working great. Thank you Cex and your Limerick, Parkway staff!
