Second DVD in quick succession from CEX that didn't work. One was not playable in Ireland, the second froze half way through the movie and doesn't work. CEX doesn't do a thorough quality check on the product before shipping them out to the customer. These defects would have been very obvious had a quality check been done. I got no refund for the first one and they refused to take back the second one, so now I'm out of pocket for 2 defective products. If I could give zero stars I would.Update: I brought the DVD back to local CEX store where the store clerk was very helpful, polite, and issued a refund...5 stars for the clerk. I had expected someone would need to sit through the whole movie to see where the DVD had failed so to save them a bit of time I informed the clerk exactly which sections it began to glitch, freeze, and subsequently skip entire sections of the movie. However, upon opening the box and giving a quick visual of the DVD he was able to immediately notice why the DVD wasn't working...something that should have, and would have, been noticed initially had CEX performed any kind of check on the DVD, and it would have saved all this time wasted. One can only conclude based on the 2 items (one not playable in Ireland, and one defective) that CEX performed no quality check whatsoever on either of the items I received.
