Consistently bad service from CeX. A series of frustrating events has led to this bad review. On three separate occasions I’ve looked up items on their website, placed the order, gotten the dispatched confirmation email, only to receive another email with the amount refunded. These guys don’t know how to manage their inventory. Their website says something is in stock, you order it and then suddenly the cancel the order because they can’t find it. An absolute joke of a company. To make it worse, my last and final attempt to use up my voucher from them I actually went in to one of their stores to collect an item. Nope, the guy behind the counter couldn’t find it. Told me he didn’t know why the system was showing it in stock but it definitely was not there. Also not that it was about me or anything but it’s a bad look when you go into a store and find two of the staff members trash talking a customer who had been emailing about a product that he purchased not being delivered yet. The fact CeX doesn’t allow you call their stores to make queries tells you all you need to know about their customer service and respect for customers. And to the customer service rep that will respond to this complaint you can stuff your €5 voucher.
