I bought my son a pair of refurbished airpods online as his were stolen. They arrived in the post but unfortunately there was a static noise coming from them.I went to the CEX store in Santry and they told me they could give me a refund, I asked if they had another pair in stock and they said no, but they had a pair in their Swords store. So I said if he could hold them for my I would drive there straight away. He said he would give me a voucher to pick them up, I should have taken the refund but I wasn't to know the implications of the voucher at this time.I drove to Swords and picked up the new refurbished airpods and they were worse than the first pair that I got with the same static noise.I went back to Santry the next day and asked for my money back and they said they could only give me a voucher as I got a voucher to buy the second pair.He said he explained this to me but It wasn't made clear that I wouldn't get a refund, and I thought I was just unlucky with the first pair and the second pair would be fine. They told me the only way I could get a refund is if I get an email from their support team to say that it was okay. I have emailed the support team numerous times and they haven't the decency to reply once.I wouldn't recommend CEX, their products don't work as they should, they have peculiar practices, and their helplines don't answer you. all in all 1/10
