Was given a voucher to fly as a birthday present, arrived at Basingstoke center 15 mins before the session, not 45 mins as required by the center, and was told to get lost as not enough time to get changed and instructed (i.e. to be told about the same flying rules as a mandatory pre-flight video explains in 3 mins). Objection that this indeed could be done within 15 mins was dismissed on the “computer says no” grounds.Rules are important, especially safety ones, but common sense should prevail.
