I ordered a non-folded mattress (140x200) from IKEA, along with a few other items, including curtain hangers for my new apartment.I paid 130 EUR for special delivery to have everything brought to my third-floor apartment on the day I moved in.IKEA never asked about my stairs, the size of my stairs, my elevator size, or whether I even had one.I met their only condition — living on the third floor — so I expected everything to go smoothly. On the delivery day (Tuesday, July 30), I stayed home from work, waiting for a two-hour delivery window. No external lift. IKEA hadn’t asked about the size of my stairs, the size of my building elevator, or even whether my building had an elevator in the first place, so the delivery was a complete failure. The delivery team took everything back, including my curtain hangers, since IKEA doesn’t allow partial deliveries. The delivery was rescheduled for Monday, August 4 (five days later). I missed another workday, but again, no external lift.I called IKEA and spent almost an hour on the phone. The agent reassured me it would be sorted next time, but the earliest delivery would be Friday, August 8. He even sent me an invoice confirming "external lift included."On Friday, after almost two weeks sleeping on the floor, I stayed home again. All my other furniture arrived, but once again, the delivery arrives without a external lift.Even the delivery drivers couldn’t believe this was happening again. At this point, it felt like a joke.I called IKEA again and spent 1.5 hours on hold, but no one picked up. I wrote an email explaining everything, giving them a chance to resolve it before I went public — but they ignored me.On Monday, I sent a registered letter. The next day, they offered me a voucher. Now, it’s Thursday evening. I’ve slept on the floor for almost three weeks. I have no curtain hangers (I had to buy expensive temporary ones from Brico that barely work), and I’ve wasted countless hours on the phone with IKEA customer support, listening to their hold music. The stress and frustration are overwhelming, and I feel completely disrespected — especially after being a loyal IKEA customer for many years.I gave IKEA another ultimatum, but they’ve ignored me again.I’m also concerned about the condition of the mattress after being transported so many times. They have ignored my latest emails and unilaterally decided the delivery will be on Saturday (I received an automatic email), so once again I’m changing my plans to stay at home.
