Note to all perspectives buyers. Personally I would avoid ILVE like the plague. Paid almost £5k for what is supposed to be the best cooker with unrivalled reliability and service. Well unfortunately this couldn't be further from the truth. The good. The cooker is exceptionally good looking and has some excellent functionality. It is however fundamentally floored in that despite what you are told, the second oven is nowhere near as good as the main and does not reach the same heat and takes ages to get any heat! On 19th May, my wife was cooking a bagel and heard a large bang. The internal glass had shattered. Several phone calls, a failed engineers visit, wrong glass, rude communications and no apology we are still unable to use the cooker almost a month on! No customer care and zero gestures of apology or goodwill. ILVE genuinely gutted at your attitude towards customer service. Accept things go wrong but attempting to blame us for the failure first, the lack of empathy towards your customers and complete disregard and contempt for our purchase is shocking. Would not recommend
