I'm writing to share my experience with the Deep Plane Face Lift procedure organized by IME Clinic, Istanbul, at ERDEM HEALTH GRUP, Hospital (Day 6 post-op). Overall, I'm satisfied with the management of the surgery, bu my experience was marred by a lack of clear post-op guidance and support...Appreciated:- Airport assistance and transfers to and from the hospital were excellent. The team was very professional and made my travel arrangements stress-free. The assigned hotel was also a good choice, with very nice staff.- Follow-up appointments were well-organized, and the medical team was attentive to my concerns.To improve:- Assistance and feedback after discharge were severely lacking. I felt abandoned and alone with many unanswered questions.- The post-operative protocol was not clearly communicated, leaving me uncertain about: - How often to change the bandages - How to behave for a fast recovery - Dietary restrictions and recommendations - Movement and activity guidelines - Management of pain and insomniaI was disappointed that I didn't receive more guidance and support during the recovery process. A clear post-operative protocol and regular check-ins would have greatly alleviated my concerns and anxiety.Despite the challenges, I'm pleased with the partial results of the surgery, and I'm grateful for the care I received during my hospital stay. However, I hope that IME Clinnic will review and improve their post-operative care to ensure that future patients receive the support they need for a smooth recovery.My Rating: 3/5 starsI would recommend this hospital for the surgery itself, but future patients should be aware of the potential lack of post-operative support.
