Review Time
For anyone thinking about joining IRP Elite, please read.
The structure for season 26 of IRP involved submitting comp/deathmatch clips (that were every week but was changed to every other week after mid season) that get reviewed by coaches who give feedback and tell you what to submit for the next week. Classes are held almost every week day. These classes cover different topics and also allow you to practice the information learned by playing with/against other students. Most classes are uploaded to the IRP whop site, so if you miss it live, you can watch it back later. There are also Saturday scrims where you can practice with other members of IRP Elite in a “real” game scenario. Last but not least, there are 6 included VOD reviews that you get to go over with a coach of your choice. The coach will answer any game related question you ask during these VOD reviews and point out everything wrong they see you do and write it down in your sheet (you’ll see what that is if you join) Also, each VOD review is recorded so you can watch it back.
My season 26 IRP Elite experience started out really strong. The classes and environment were great. I really liked the VOD reviews the most. Both Coach Maru and Coach In0x were really good at pointing out what I was doing wrong in my decision making and helping to come up with goals to fix it.
As mid-end of season approached, the course started feeling like there were less new things being taught and just an overall drop in attention from the students and coaches. The course changed and allowed the Lite students to join in on some of the Elite classes. It really got me wondering what the point of spending so much more money was. Towards the ending weeks of the course, all the practice sessions felt like just people hanging out in a vc and playing the game against each other. I also felt like I wasn’t really learning anything when playing scrims. I’m not saying every scrim/class was or will be like this, but I did feel as though it wasn’t always the most structured learning environment. To be clear, I don’t want you to feel like I’m shitting on the course, I definitely have my own problems that, if fixed, could have made my experience better.
The course is quite expensive so be prepared to spend a lot of money. One thing that may have prompted you to come this far is the 500RR or your money back guarantee, but because there are so many qualifications you need to meet in order to be eligible, I would not make a decision to join based on the assumption that you have a get out of jail free card. The most important thing I learned is that you need to be dedicated. You need to be sure putting hundreds of hours into valorant is something you really want to do. Before you make a decision, ask yourself: Is improving at valorant **that** important to me?
what stood out the most was the personalized support on my 1-on-1 VOD reviews pinpointed my mid-rounding and tilt issues. The coaches are incredibly responsive 24/7, the resources (drills, mindset training) are top-tier.
IRP helped me alot in helping me understand more of the game, working on small things that seperate a good player from an even better player. Coach In0x also helped me fix a lot of small minor errors that helped me see a massive improvement in my gameplay. I can confidently say that IRP as a program itself is very very helpful and I coudn't recommend it more to anyone who is serious about improving.
I found IRP to be very useful in my development, I've noticed a positive difference in pretty much every aspect of playing Valorant and think that if keep putting what I've learned into use I'll keep seeing improvement going forward, I found all the support and recourses they give to be extremely helpful and would recommend it to anyone who would be interested.
This program provides so much more than what ranked play can offer. It fosters a collaborative atmosphere where all 10 participants can explore various playstyles together. You receive a wealth of general information as well as personalized assistance, making it beneficial regardless of your rank. I began my journey at just above ascendant 2, and within a few weeks, I soared to immortal 2 with 128RR. While I acknowledge a bit of luck played a role, the impact of this program was significant, making it all worthwhile.
I started off this program as a hardstuck diamond player who thought they knew what they were doing. After the first few 1 on 1s and group sessions, I realized how bad I really was, and how much room I had for improvement. I made it all the way up to ascendant 2 60 rr in just a few weeks, and im still climbing. I didnt have a very big time commitment, but I was still able to take away tons of things from the program. The coaches were great as well, they were always explaining things thoughtfully and listening to every question. 10/10, would recomend
After working with my Coach Raymon, I feel as if his tips really progressed into my gameplay successfully and my improvement definitely showed as I had gone up over 800 rr after the rank reset. After going through the IRP I came to the realization of what I wanted progressing through this game and also how I can improve going into the future.
The IRP was a really great experience. The classes, scrims and courses are really fun and you can learn really much from it but the best part of the IRP are the 1on1's. Jackpot if you get them with the best player in West Virginia. Even though i did not reach my promised rank yet, I still improved massive in my mechanics, decisionmaking and as a player overall. The whole programm is really well structured and is just good. I was having a really good time in the last 10 weeks and i am happy to take part in the future events.
I worked with Coach Cell in the lite program as a Plat 3 player for about 7-8 months before joining the main program and let me say I wish I joined three years ago when I first heard about it. Since joining the main program i have worked with EvaD and Raymon. I reached my new peak of ASC 3 with aims at Immortal soon. The program helped me learn more about my roles and duties as a sentinel/controller as well as mechanics, game sense, mental, lifestyle. IRP does it ALL. There are so many different sessions from 1on1 to Group learning to Community Scrims for fun. I am also honored to be so involved in this community as a Scrim manager and just meeting a lot of like minded individuals. Every coach has something to offer and I cant wait to meet more of them and keep learning.
