Initially, the service showed some concern, with a senior officer acknowledging the severity of the situation after viewing my CCTV footage. Unfortunately, the police were ineffective, despite having evidence of the criminal acts. I was promised that the main offender would face eviction, yet he remains in the property. The anti-social officer was supportive and expressed frustration with the system but ultimately couldn't achieve any significant action. I was offered an emergency move, with assurances of compensation for my expenses, but none of these promises were honored. Instead, I felt abandoned and financially burdened, as they opted for the easier path rather than protecting me as a victim. For six months, I was advised not to stay at the property, leading me to only visit to collect mail while enduring further harassment. The new flat I was moved to is far less spacious and comfortable than my previous one. It's disheartening to see the service promoting a slogan about safety in the home, especially when my experience was anything but safe. Neil, the anti-social officer, was the only one who genuinely supported me, even helping me pack and check in on me after the move. I regret not reaching out to my local representative to highlight the failures of both the service and the police, but I was mentally drained from the ordeal.
