I am Edem Afenyo, a first-year university student, and I took the course in February 2021. After attending the demo session, I chose to take the course and saw an opportunity to improve my output in school after seeing a mentor recall random words and numbers with relative ease. I always had issues with memory of whatever I studied, especially during tests. Before the course, my worst subject had a predicted final grade of D, with my test average at 4/10 by the mid-semester. My readings had an average of 12 pages per chapter, and I could only read 1 chapter a day to my understanding. But after the course, I could read and understand 3-4 chapters a day, and my final test average became 7/10, and my final grade became a B. Even though this change was drastic, it was my lowest grade out of all my courses allowing me to achieve a first-class grade for my first semester.Now I feel that I can give my mental capabilities a workout. Now I can adequately gain info and not just recollect it and be more confident in my abilities to retain information and work efficiently.
