I selected InJure after speaking with a few different law firms for a Lithuanian ancestry citizenship reinstatement application. Their terms are reasonable and fair, although this also means it’s a low touch, largely email based service, where the contact is mostly with administrative coordinators and not directly with the managing lawyers. Narrowly specialized but also very efficient in the area of expertise. Recognizing these limitations, I felt all my questions were answered thoughtfully and timely and with proper legal care; overall I received excellent value. Insofar as the local Lithuanian archival research, translation, and government interactions are all part of the service, it could be considered a comprehensive white glove package. I applied for citizenship reinstatement for myself and two siblings based on a Lithuanian ancestor. Worth noting that we had access to 100 year old original citizenship related documents, and relevant genealogy records from the US were fairly easy to access and legalize. The process of first collecting all our supporting documents and legalizing them for an acceptable submission (my responsibility) took 5-6 months. InJure took 3-4 months for their part translating, submitting, and then meeting the government liaisons to formally review and begin processing the application. From that time it took about 10 months for the Lithuanian government to issue the citizenship reinstatement decree. I was very happy when I paid the prenegotiated flat fee payable only on success. Approximately 18 months after first contacting InJure the three of us have our passports and national ID cards.
